State Farm® Insurance Agent Adam Decker

"Nice people but they cancelled my home insurance about 2 weeks early instead of letting it expire like I had instructed via email. This led to a lapse in my coverage so my lender was not happy. This office then would not respond to emails, return a phone call after I left a voicemail, or pick up the phone in general. I finally spoke to someone who said they would speak to their regional office. I never heard back from her. I was going to let the policy expire and switch companies because State Farm kept increasing my annual policy by at least a few hundred dollars each year. It went from about $1,200 to $1,700 and then wanted to charge me over $2,000 this coming year. I now have a policy with Farmers Insurance for only $779 saving me over $100/month. I do not recommend having home insurance through State Farm. Car insurance is good but the home insurance is overpriced. Again, good luck getting a response via email or phone from State Farm. Decker's office seems to just ignore a problem until it goes away. EDIT: I received confirmation on 11/26/2025 that my lapse in coverage was resolved. Thank you, Wendy."

"We had a problem with a due date on one of our vehicles. I called two weeks before the incorrect due date and spoke with Wendy. I had to keep calling back time after time because I received no updates from Wendy even though I asked her to give me updates and the incorrect due date was fast approaching. We finally decided to email Adam about our situation. He never responded to our email so we tried to call the office to speak to him but he wasn't available which seems to be the case whenever we call the office. We ended up talking to Wendy again and finally got the answer we were looking for and the correct date was posted two days before it would have been past the date that would cancel our insurance on the vehicle. I am not sure what Adam does as an agent but he sure doesn't seem to want to interact with his customers. Responding to an email to insure your customer feels he is taking care of your situation means alot and literally takes minutes! We will be considering other options."
